The ape community is full of builders. You've taken the club to new heights by using the license to your BAYC and MAYC images to make your own projects and products, from clothes and food, to games and music, and beyond. You've said "fuck it" and put out some of the most entertaining, delicious, bizarre, and imaginative projects and products out there — in web3, online, and IRL.
Now, we're making it easier to understand the rights associated with owning an ape, discover (and verify) ape-made projects and products, connect with other builders, and get inspired to make your own cool shit.
Introducing Made by Apes, a platform for BAYC and MAYC holders to request to use the “Made by Apes” logo for projects that incorporate their apes. A license allows you to use a Made by Apes logo with a unique license number that, thanks to our partner SaaSy Labs, is recorded on-chain. Making the license blockchain-verifiable was an essential piece of this project — SaaSy's innovative solution makes it possible for your ape to build a history of its commercial use and for anyone to identify a legit ape creation.
Soon, all valid licenses will also be included in a directory (The Bodega) that showcases what apes have built.

Made By Apes, The Bodega Directory
Today, we're excited to introduce the Made By Apes Bodega found at https://madeby.yuga.com/apes/bodega The Bodega will act as the directory for all valid and active MBA licenses.Its been incredible to watch Apes build out their IP over the years.
The official directory is live pulling from on-chain MBA licenses to display all the Bored Ape and Mutant Ape creations in one place. Keep your eyes peeled as more Licenses are approved and added to the Bodega.
Made By Apes, Now In Action
That’s right: the first 30 MBA licenses have been approved and are out in the wild. Look for the MBA logo and unique license number, then go ahead and support your fellow apes. As license requests continue to come in, we’ll continue to send out approvals, expanding our community of builders along the way. We’ll also be showing off some of the latest MBA projects at ApeFest Hong Kong — so if you’d like a chance to be featured, get those license requests in. To be eligible for display you'll need to have a MBA license and be able to get your products to HK on time! And in the meantime, check out the latest crop of MBA partners:
